C. Warrena
Seale Gaines
March 14, 1947 – December 2, 2024
C. Warrena Seale Gaines, age 77, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 2, 2024. She had lived in the area for 37 years. She was born in Sarasota, Florida on March 14, 1947, to James Edward Seale and Constance Warrena Whitney Seale.
Warrena retired from her family's real estate business, Seale Family Realty, in Boca Grande, Florida.
Her interests included all things animals- especially horses, cats, and her granddaughter's Pug, Frank. She lived a life of care, compassion, and devotion to those around her.
Warrena was a Free Spirit- she was known for her kindness, humor, and generosity. She cherished her family and all of her friendships.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jefferson Gaines, and her parents.
She was a devoted and loving mother to her daughter, Ru (David) Walters, and a proud grandmother to her four grandchildren, including Shaelyn Howard-whom she affectionately called "Mammoo's Princess of the World" and her bonus grandchildren: Ashlee Mahaffey, Sarah Walters, Sarah Gaines, and Chris Gaines, all of whom she "loved beyond measure."
Warrena is also survived by her sisters, Jacqueline Schwegman and Rebecca Paterson, as well as her bonus son, Ron (Tamra) Gaines of Lakeland, FL, her niece, Seale Paterson, and nephews, Skye Paterson, Spencer Paterson, and Jay Schwegman.
Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
May her spirit continue to soar freely.
