Brian E Baum passed away unexpectedly at age 66 on July 2nd, 2026, at his home in Arcadia, Florida.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents Shirley J. Baum (91) and Dale D. Baum (90). Brian was born in Canton, Ohio on April 22nd, 1960. His family moved around the states growing up due to his father’s profession in the educational field, but ultimately decided on Las Cruces, New Mexico as their place of retirement. Brian had a love for New Mexico and shared that love with his family through trips and visitations with his parents and relatives throughout the years.
Brian was a very family-oriented person. He loved passionately and deeply. Brian is survived by his wife, Tina Baum, his brother, Bruce (Becky) Baum, and his five daughters; Alexis Jackson, Hope Baum, Faith Baum, Megan Baum, & Morgan Baum. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and a deeply devoted Christian. He contributed to the rebuilding of his church and was a participating committee member for many years.
Brian worked for Baum Tile Company for several years being self-employed. He took pride in his work and serviced many people through the years he worked. He mainly serviced Sarasota and Bradenton areas, with the exception of a few small jobs in Arcadia.
In honoring Brian’s wishes, no formal services will be held. Instead of a service, his family encourages you to privately celebrate Brian’s memory in your own way.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Brian’s name to Grace Lutheran Church - 1004 W Oak St, Arcadia, Florida 34266.
Please keep Brian’s family and friends in your prayers at this time.
