Brandon Jay Muse, age 43, passed away on October 8, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 21, 1980 in Arcadia, FL. to Lucky M. and Wendy Dunn Muse. Brandon was a lifelong resident of our community and was of the Baptist faith.

Brandon was a DeSoto High graduate, Class of 1999. After graduation he spent his working career as a heavy equipment operator and truck driver. His favorite places were outdoors, he enjoyed fishing and being with nature. His best and most cherished accomplishment was his love for his two children and family. His parents describe him as a child so very carefree, as an adult he had some trouble, but at the end he found his way home.

He is survived by his wife Jennie Muse, two children Randall Muse and Madison Muse, his parents all of Arcadia, FL. Two siblings Travis (Brittany) Muse of Arcadia and Brittany (Jordan) Ingman of North Port, FL and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Brandon is preceded in death by a baby brother who shared his birth date, paternal grandparents, Virgil and Jessie Muse, maternal grandparents William and Nancy Dunn and Uncle William Dunn, Jr.

A visitation of family and friends will be held on Friday, October 13, 2023 at 10:00am at N. Hillsborough Baptist Church, 253 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia.

Funeral Services will follow at 10:30am at the church with Rev. Ellis Cross officiating. Burial will be at Joshua Creek Cemetery, Arcadia.
