Bobby Gene Willis 73, passed away on October 20, 2022. He was born in Clearwater, Florida on August 20, 1949, to Earl and Mary Poole Willis.

He had been a Hardee/DeSoto County resident since 1989.
Bobby graduated from Largo High School in 1968 and went on to earn his bachelor's de­gree.

He proudly served his country in the United State Air Force dur­ing the Viet­nam era and later was em­ployed by Publix supermarket as a meat cutter.
Bobby was a very loving father husband and grand­father who gave more than he received. He enjoyed fishing and farming.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Jean Willis, of Arcadia, Florida; children, Bobby S. Willis (Brian); Lee Willis (Sandra) and William Willis (Heather); brother, Milton "Buddy" Willis (Becky); six grand­children; and four great­ grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents, Earl and Mary Willis; and his first wife Sue Willis.

The visitation will be at Ponger Kays Grady Funeral Home November 19, 2022 from 11:00-12:00PM, funeral service to follow with Military Honors, by Herger Williams American Legion Post#2.
