Billie Don Cooper, 62 of Arcadia passed away January 16, 2008. He was born September 09, 1945 in Dallas County, Texas and moved to Arcadia 30 years ago. Billie was a Certified Diver Master, and he enjoyed SCUBA diving, air boats, fishing, and loved life and people. He was an owner operator truck driver and of the Baptist faith. Billie was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Mabel Cooper. He is survived by his beloved wife Debbie Cooper of Arcadia; one son Christopher Chris (Michelle) Batson of Nocatee, two grand children, Britany Nichole Stidham and Jaylynn Marie Batson. Visitation will be 6-8PM Saturday, January 19, 2008 at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home. Services will be 2PM Sunday, January 20, 2008 at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 N Hillsborough Ave., with Rev. Matt Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Joshua Creek Cemetery.
