Betty Spencer Sellers, age 67, passed away on Tuesday September 24, 2024 in Wauchula, Florida. She was born on January 31, 1957 in Wauchula, Florida to Charlie and Avanell Spencer.

She was a lifelong resident of Hardee County for 67 years, graduated in 1975 at Hardee High School. She was a Beautician owned her own business ''Bettys Hair Affair'' in Wauchula where she did hair and makeup for Robarts Funeral Home.

She got an award from American Cancer Society for helping ladies with wigs, scarfs, and makeup after chemo. She was very outgoing, did not meet a stranger, great sense of humor.

She is survived by her husband, Walter Neil Sellers, her son Nicholas Sellers and wife (Grace) of Winter Haven, Florida, Sisters Donna Spencer Newman and Barbara Spencer Peiper and brother David Spencer as well as two grandchildren, Benjamin and Jonah Sellers and several Nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Avanell Spencer and sister Shirley Spencer McPherson.

The visitation will be held Monday, September 30, 2024 at 10:00AM-11:00AM at Zolfo Springs First Baptist Church 320 Fourth St East. Zolfo Springs, Services to follow at 11:00AM. Burial will be at Wauchula City Cemetery.
