Betty Bohannan

Betty Bohannan, age 67 passed away Sunday April 3, 2022 in Ft. Myers, Florida.

Betty was born on February 9, 1955 in Live Oak, Florida.

Betty enjoyed working with the School District of DeSoto County as a "lunch lady" for many years.

She loved cooking, cooking for her family no matter what day it was. She mostly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her brother Harvey (Leona) Williams, sister Janet (Danny) Wood, and Sister-in-law Alice Dedge. She is also survived by her children Joe (Sandy) Bohannan, Betty Jo Hall (Brian Newton), her grandchildren Cassidy Hall (Matthew Messer Jr.), Dustin Hall, Chamber Bohannan, Elizabeth McEwen and her great grandchildren Joelee Adele Messer, Matthew David Messer III, Savanah Renae Hodges, Sara Rose Hall, Trysten Dewayne Sanchez, Madelene Rose McEwen, Eli Gage McEwen, and Quinten Steel McEwen.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of many years Joe Bohannan Sr., brother Bubba Williams, mother Nellie Porter, father B.W. Williams, and grandson Larry Joseph Hall.
