Betty Josephine Betty Jo Smith, age 61, of Arcadia, Fl. passed away September 15, 2009 in Port Charlotte, Fl. Betty Jo was born in Arcadia, Fl. August 16, 1948. She was the daughter of the late Mitchell and Lois May Skinner. Betty Jo was a homemaker. She loved making sure her family always had a place to live and something to eat. Betty Jo loved fishing, baking, and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors are her two sons; Raymond Calvin (Marcia) Smith, Jr., Arcadia, Fl. Joe Michael (Tamila) Smith, Philadelphia, PA., and a daughter Tammy Louise (Gabriel) Salas Smith, Telferner, TX. She also leaves three brothers; Ervin Lester (Elaine) Skinner, Lake Placid, FL., John Ray (Juliet) Skinner and Roger (Lenora) Skinner, both of Arcadia and Richard Ricky Skinner, Port Charlotte, FL; sister Jackie (Lewis) Ramos, Nocatee, Fl. twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
