Bernice D. Geister, age 90, passed away March 10, 2011 in Arcadia, FL. Bernice was a winter visitor to Arcadia for several years from Reddick, IL. She was born January 10, 1921 in Warner, So. Dakota. She lived in Reddick for the past two yeas, moving there from Palos heights, IL. Bernice was a fashion model and a housewife. She enjoyed sewing, reading mystery novels, and ballroom dancing. She loved spending quality time with her children and grandchildren. She was of the Presbyterian faith. Survivors are her two daughters; Valerie (Lee) Littlefield, Arcadia, FL and Patricia (Wayne) Groenendal, Coloma, Michigan, and a son Randolph Randy Geister, Reddick, IL. and six grandchildren: Shari, Mark, Sandi, Amy, Mitchell, and Brandi. Berince is preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert S. Geister, Dec. 17, 1977.
