Barbara G. Miller of Wauchula, FL passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025. She was born in Arcadia, FL on October 11, 1952, to William Dewitt Starnes and Evelyn Taylor Starnes.

She had been a manager of the Wauchula Garden Apartments. Barbara loved movies and helping others. She will be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. She will also be remembered for her kindness and her great sense of humor.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Lee Miller, her mother and father, brothers Edward, Ronnie, and W.D. Starnes, and sister Peggy Starnes.

She is survived by her daughters Missy Stringer (Miller) and Kimberly (David) Rickett. There are also 4 grandchildren, Stormi Darty – Missy's daughter, Jared (Cody) Darty – Missy's son, Isabella Dodge – Kimberly's daughter, and Jerry Dodge – Kimberly's son, as well as 7 nephews and 5 nieces.
