Avery T. Mills passed away on January 9, 2025; he was born on January 24,1934 in Inverness, Florida to Sterling L. Mills and Era Mae Fitzgerald.

He was a Heavy Equipment Operator and retired from the DeSoto County Road Department. He enjoyed fishing and Bee Keeping.

He is survived by his wife Martha Sharon Mills, his children Terry (Rhonda) Mills, Melinda (Pete) Boehm and Melissa (Claude) Corriveau. Also, his brother Melvin Mills and sister Alice New.

He also leaves behind 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
