Aurora Cano Guerrero age 87 passed away on February 14, 2026. She was born on August 20, 1938 in Tulsa, Texas to Matilde Cano and Victoria Jaramillo. She had lived in the community for 55 years.

She helped her husband with Harvesting and later became a full time stay at home mother. Her greatest accomplishment was in raising her kids to be wonderful, caring and helping and to always be there for each other.

She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. Aurora enjoyed gardening, cooking, crochet, and taking care of all of her children and Chiquita, her fur baby.

She will be remembered as a loving caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great-grandmother full of life, also, as an independent hard working woman.

She is preceded in death by her husband Angel (Joe) Guerrero, she never remarried. Her sons, Guadulupe and Ricardo; Grandsons, Robert Guerrero, Andrew and Angel Aguirre, and daughter-in-law Marie Guerrero.

She is survived by 6 of her 8 children as well as 30 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren.

There will be a Visitation on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 11:00AM-12:00PM at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home Chapel at 205 N. 9th Avenue, Wauchula, FL 33873. The service will follow at 12:00PM with Father Juan Lorenzo officiating. The Burial will follow at Zolfo Springs Cemetery.
