Archie T. Trib Johnson, Jr., age 54, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2010 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 28, 1955 in Arcadia, Fl. and a lifetime resident. Trib will be remembered as a hard working man; he spent his days running a tractor for his families hay business and a devoted father raising his boys. Trib enjoyed fishing and hunting in his spare time. He was a graduate of Desoto High School, Class of 1973. Trib was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his parents Archie T. and Lavenia V. Moody Johnson, Sr. of Arcadia, FL., two sons Archie T.J. Johnson, III and Justin A. Johnson both of Arcadia, FL.; Dear friend, Diane Moncrief of Arcadia, Fl.; two sisters, Charlotte J. Gross of Arcadia, FL. and Nancy V. (Kenny) Pickles of Lehigh Acres, FL. spouse, Lisa Skinner Johnson of Arcadia;stepson Patrick C. Skinner and two other step children as well, nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Tuesday, July 13, 2010 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at 11:00AM at the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Wayne Cooper officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
