Archie Tribue Johnson Sr., age 92, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2022 in Arcadia, FL.  Archie was born March 4, 1930 in Charlotte County, FL to Robert and Millie Thornton Johnson.  He was a high school graduate and an honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Army.  Archie was self -employed, working primarily in the agriculture industry growing hay.  Archie enjoyed doing yardwork and traveling. He was dedicated to his family and enjoyed spending quality time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a faithful member of the Brownsville Baptist Church, Brownsville, FL.

Survivors are his two daughters, Charlotte Gross, Arcadia, FL, and Nancy (Charles) Pickles, Lehigh Acres, FL.  He also leaves five grandchildren and six great grandchildren to mourn his loss.  Archie was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, Lavenia Johnson, and one son Archie Tribue Johnson Jr.

Visitation will be conducted from 10:00 am until 11:00am, Thursday, August 11, 2022 from the Brownsville Baptist Church, 7015 NE Cubitis Ave., Arcadia, FL  34266. Funeral services will begin at 11:00am at the church with Rev. Matt Roberts officiating.  Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery.
