Annie Ruth Young, age 76, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023. She was born July 9, 1947, in Ardmore, Tennessee to Frank and Annie Lee Thomas Boldin. She graduated from Riverview High School, in Sarasota, Florida.

Ruth worked at the family business Young's Cabinets and was a lunch lady for Sarasota County Schools and was a housewife with 2 children. She belonged to the Apostolic/Pentecostal Church, she last attended Apostolic Lighthouse in Lake Placid.

She loved going to church, spending time with family and friends and enjoyed knitting blankets and fishing.

Ruth is survived by her daughter Kimberly (Richard) Mowdy from Arcadia, Florida, and brother James (Cheryl) Boldin from Sarasota, Florida, two grandchildren Brittany (Joseph) Webber, and Carrie Young, along with one great grandchild Kayden Webber, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Frederick Young, son Daniel Young, her parents Frank and Annie Lee Boldin, and many other brothers and sister, she had 11, and only one is living today.

Visitation will be Friday, November 17, 2023, at 2:00pm at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home in Arcadia, Florida. Service will follow at 3:00pm at Ponger-Kays-Grady Chapel.

Burial will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida on Monday, November 20, 2023, at 10:30am.
