Obituary

Annie Eloise Wynn, age 77, passed away February 15, 2011 in Port Charlotte; Fl. was born March 19, 1933 in Fort Green, Fl, moving to Arcadia from Pensacola, FL in 1971. She was one of the first EMTs for DeSoto County when Desoto County began its Emergency Medical Program in 1972. Annie enjoyed fishing and growing flowers and other plants. She owned and operated Annie B s Nursery several years ago. Annie loved her family and loved spending quality time with them whenever possible. She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church of Nocatee. Annie is survived by two sons; Jimmy (Cheryl) Wynn, St. Augustine, FL and Michael (Bridgette) Wynn and a daughter; Linda (Kellsy) Miller both of Arcadia, FL. She also leaves two sisters; Judy Alcorn, Charleston, SC, and Sallie (Phil) Cloninger, Arcadia, FL, nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Annie was preceded in death by her beloved husband; Bobby D. Sports Fan Wynn, her parents Thomas and Minnie Boyett, two brothers; Elton Boyett, J. C. Boyett, and a sister Mary Pearl Boyett Weed. Visitation will be conducted from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, February 18, 2011 at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home chapel, 50 No. Hillsborough Avenue, Arcadia, FL Funeral services will be at 10:00AM Saturday, February 19, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Nocatee, Nocatee, FL with Rev.
