Anna Lee Clay, Age-89 passed away at Tidewell Hospice in Arcadia, FL on Friday, October 22 ^nd, 2021. Anna was born on June  9 ^th, 1932 in Wise County, Virginia to the late Willard and Myrtle Stidham. Anna worked as a nursing assistant for many years in the housekeeping department of Marysville Hospital in Marysville, Ohio. She has been a resident of Arcadia for the last thirty years. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Arcadia and Church of God of the Prophecy also in Arcadia, FL. She loved to read and especially loved reading the bible. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and great-grandmother whose faith in the Lord was very strong.

She is survived by one daughter, Melba Fritz of Arcadia, FL. One sister, Helen (Floyd)  Stidham Poole, and one brother, Ralph (Heidi) Stidham. Five grandchildren; Michael (Tasha) Luckeydoo, Brian Pennington, Chuck (Yvonne) Lers II, Sara (Jacob) Gillian, and Beth Pennington, two greatgrandchildren; Mikey (Sierra) Luckeydoo and Dalton Luckeydoo, and two great-greatgrandchildren, Ethan and Mary Jayne. She is also survived by 27 nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband James M Clay, one son; Douglas Pennington, Five brothers, and sisters; Emmitt, Willard, James, Paul, and Odell Stidham and one sister, Mary (Ruth) Gilstrap and one son-in-law John Fritz

Services and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Tidewell Hospice House Arcadia, FL.
