Alma Virginia Boatwright 80 of Sarasota passed away July 22, 2008 in Sarasota, FL. She was born August 07,1927 in Sarasota, FL and lived in Arcadia for several years before moving back to Sarasota six years ago. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Arcadia, and First Baptist Church of Osprey. She enjoyed raising roses and gardening. Alma is survived by her beloved husband Benny Boatwright, one son Terry (Sally) Boatwright of Sanger, TX; one daughter Paulette (Robert) Arnold of Osprey, FL; one brother William Blount of Arcadia, FL; three sisters Thelma of Sarasota, Althea of Labelle, FL, Pearl of Tallahassee; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10:00 AM July 25, 2008 graveside in Sarasota Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Johnny Marx and Rev Tom Bryant officiating.
