Alice H. (De Wolf) Danielson, 96, DeSoto Village, Arcadia, and formerly of Dallas, TX and Minneapolis, MN died December 19, 2015. She was born August 27, 1919 at Ogilvie, MN and moved to DeSoto County 26 years ago.

After high school graduation she trained as a nurse and worked as an LPN in hospitals and private homes. She loved the out-of-doors: gardening, fishing, bird watching, shell and rock collecting. In retirement she became a self – taught artist who inspired friends and neighbors to take up painting. Her Christian faith sustained her throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Carl E. Danielson. She was much loved by friends and family including her surviving daughter Mary Jo Hruska and her husband Eric.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday December 23, 2015 at 11:00 am with Rev. Jerry Waters officiating. Services will be held at Mount Ephraim Baptist Church in Arcadia, Florida. Interment to follow at Owens Cemetery.
