Albert Franklin Lyons of Arcadia, Florida passed away October 17, 2022. He was born on December 7, 1957, to John and Meekie Lyons. He was a lifelong resident of DeSoto County.

He was employed in Charlotte County. As a young man he joined the Army and received his GED while in the Army.

He will be remembered as a good person and a hard worker.

He is survived by his daughter, Missy Thomson of Thomas, Georgia, his brother Jimmy Lyons in Michigan, and his sister Joyce Lyons of Arcadia, Florida. There are also 14 nieces and nephews.

The Visitation will be Saturday, November 5, 2022, at the Chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Homes Arcadia from 10:00AM – 11:00AM. The service will follow from 11:00AM – 12:00PM in the Chapel and the Burial will follow the service at Joshua Creek Cemetery.
